This is new; Every Thursday I'll be showcasing whatever weird is going on in music these days. So stay tuned and let me know what you think (or not, I don't know).

I was wondering through the SXSW artist list and I came across a band that made me think, "That's the best band name I've ever heard." That band is Care Bears on Fire. What I didn't realize is that they are pre-teens. Their song "Everybody Else" is pretty basic (granted they're in 7th grade, so don't expect anything complex) but it's better than your average Miley Cyrus or Kidz Bop tune. So download the song and crank it up for your little cousin or any little person you personally know. All hail kidcore!
